Trans Lifeline
This line is primarily for transgender people experiencing a crisis. This includes people who may be struggling with their gender identity and are not sure that they are transgender. While our goal is to prevent self harm, we welcome the call of any transgender person in need. We will do our very best to connect them with services that can help them meet that need. If you are not sure whether you should call or not, then please call us.

  1. Hello, my name is Greer and I’m working on a photography project trying to tell the story of transgender teenagers in our local area. I’m 16 and I live in Albuquerque, but am currently in Santa Fe and heard your organization would be a great resource.
I’d love to come meet and talk to anyone in charge of the support group, and any members in it that are willing to help.
I am here all week, and it would mean so much if I could have a bit of time with anyone there.
If that’s not possible, I completely understand, but would be so grateful if you could share the names of any other groups or individuals in the area.
    Thanks so much!

    1. Well this week there is an event that most of the youth are involved in The Queer Youth United event at The Santa Fe Mountain Center. Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/885300511609248/?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%2229%22%2C%22ref_notif_type%22%3A%22event_transition_reminder%22%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D&notif_t=event_transition_reminder&notif_id=1499704690544641

You of course are welcome to come to our group but I can’t guarantee youth will be there with that other event going on. Our support group meets this Wednesday at 7:00 at the Santa Fe Higher Education Center
      1950 Siringo Road, Room 145
      Santa Fe, NM

If you’re on Facebook I could add you to our Facebook group and you could make your request to the whole membership. Here the link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/443787502308149/

      1. Thank you so much for that information! I’m not on Facebook but I will try to stop by Wednesday or a day during the camp.
